As they mention in the story, stores ARE limiting the quantities you can buy to one per family. This may seem ridiculous, but it is true!

One of the only places you can purchase all of the zoo zoo hamsters and accessories at one time is through Amazon.com.

Stores across the country can not keep these guys in stock, and I doubt that you'll be able to even find them on Amazon as Christmas gets closer. My best advice is to get them as soon as possible to avoid the anger and frustration of missing out when it is too late.
